About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential career development platform seeking an experienced Wealth Management Careers Coach to join their remote coaching network. Our client connects ambitious professionals with expert coaches who help them navigate complex career transitions and skill development in the financial services sector.
This is a flexible, contractor-based role where you set your own hours and rates. You'll work virtually with students and mid-career professionals who are pursuing or advancing careers in wealth management, providing both technical skill development and strategic career guidance.
Responsibilities
- Teach core wealth management competencies including financial planning, investment strategy, retirement planning, estate planning, and tax planning
- Guide clients in applying AI fundamentals and automation tools to modern wealth management workflows
- Conduct resume reviews, cover letter critiques, and LinkedIn profile optimization sessions
- Provide interview preparation and salary negotiation coaching
- Support clients with promotion strategy, networking tactics, and independent consulting pathways
- Deliver structured, high-quality virtual coaching sessions tailored to individual client needs
- Collaborate with our client's team to maintain coaching quality and student satisfaction
What We're Looking For
- Professional experience in wealth management – you've worked in the field and understand the industry from the inside
- Prior coaching or mentoring experience – you have a track record of helping others develop skills and advance their careers
- A clear, structured approach to breaking down complex financial and career topics
- Comfort working in a virtual, asynchronous environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to tailor your approach to diverse learners
- Familiarity with AI tools and their application in financial services is a plus
- Located in the United States
