Sunbelt Management Company is hiring a Site Maintenance professional for our Springville Heights residential community in Springville, St. Clair County. This full-time position offers the opportunity to maintain quality living spaces and grounds while working directly with our Site Manager and community team.
About the Role
As Site Maintenance, you'll be the skilled professional responsible for keeping residential units operational, safe, and move-in ready. You'll diagnose and repair systems across multiple trades, prepare units for occupancy, and maintain community grounds to create an attractive, well-functioning living environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform plumbing maintenance and repairs in residential units
- Handle electrical repairs and troubleshooting while maintaining code compliance
- Complete interior and exterior painting projects as needed for turnover and upkeep
- Repair and maintain household appliances to maximize operational life
- Clean and prepare units for new resident move-in, including final inspections
- Care for community grounds, landscaping, and common areas
- Assess maintenance issues and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions
- Respond to routine and urgent maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Document completed work, materials used, and maintenance needs for records
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience with residential plumbing, electrical work, or general property maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair appliances and residential systems
- Strong craftsmanship and pride in quality work
- Physical capability to perform manual labor, carry materials, and work at heights
- Reliable transportation and availability to respond to maintenance emergencies
- Professional communication skills and courteous demeanor with residents
- Competency with hand tools and common power tools
