About the Role

This Credentialed Course Instructor opportunity centers on delivering PT 731: Exercise Physiology within the Doctor of Physical Therapy curriculum. The incumbent will lead all instructional components of the course, ensuring alignment with program objectives and accreditation standards.

What You'll Do

  • Design and update the syllabus, lecture materials, and laboratory exercises for PT 731.
  • Facilitate engaging classroom discussions, demonstrations, and hands‑on activities.
  • Develop and administer assessments, including quizzes, exams, and practical skill evaluations.
  • Provide timely feedback and hold regular office hours to support student learning.
  • Collaborate with faculty colleagues to integrate course content across the DPT program.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and course documentation.
  • Stay current with evidence‑based exercise physiology practices and incorporate advancements into teaching.

What We're Looking For

  • Earned terminal degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., or equivalent) in Exercise Physiology, Physical Therapy, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of five years of professional experience teaching exercise physiology or a comparable subject at the graduate level.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cardiovascular, metabolic, and neuromuscular aspects of exercise.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse learners.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and educational technology tools.
  • Active participation in scholarly activity or professional development is preferred.
