Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential automation and logistics systems organization seeking a Field Service Technician for their Cologne region. In this role, you will work independently across your territory and internationally with extensive travel requirements.
Your core responsibilities include:
- Mechanical assembly and installation of automated systems at customer sites nationally and internationally - 100% travel readiness with typical deployments of two to three weeks
- Independent commissioning and start-up of equipment
- Supporting steel construction positioning and component installation
- Performing service and maintenance assignments for the global customer base
- Managing varied assignments as projects are largely customized to individual client requirements
What We're Looking For
- Successfully completed technical vocational training (e.g., mechatronics, electronics)
- Career starters or professionals with relevant field experience welcome
- Strong communication skills in German and English
- French language skills are desirable
- Independent working style combined with team player mentality
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Valid Class B driver's license
