Senior Technical Architect – Hybrid (Product / Platform) (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential enterprise software organization seeking a Senior Technical Architect to bridge cloud-native product innovation with enterprise platform integration. In this role, you will own technical design across two critical domains: modern cloud-native product architecture (approximately 70% focus) and enterprise platform integration (approximately 30% focus).

Your core responsibilities include:

• Design microservices architectures using Node.js with API-first and event-driven patterns
• Define service boundaries, data flows, and integration patterns ensuring multi-tenant capability
• Architect AI feature integration including LLM services, RAG patterns, and agentic workflows over product and platform data
• Design integration layers between cloud-native products and enterprise ERP systems including API contracts, data synchronization, and identity propagation
• Provide architectural guidance for enterprise platform extensions following clean core principles
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams on containerization, cloud deployment, and CI/CD strategies spanning hybrid environments
• Create high-level design, solution design, and technical design documentation at epic level
• Conduct technical reviews and provide sign-off as part of the Architecture Board
• Translate enterprise guardrails into actionable design standards for engineering teams

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings:

• Several years of experience as an architect in cloud-native environments with strong expertise in Node.js
• Proven experience designing and implementing microservices and API architectures
• Deep understanding of event-driven systems and integration patterns
• Hands-on experience integrating AI capabilities into software products
• Cloud architecture expertise including containers, orchestration, and scaling strategies
• Working knowledge of enterprise ERP systems and clean core extension patterns
• Track record designing integration between cloud-native applications and ERP platforms
• High technical credibility with senior engineers across both cloud-native and enterprise platform teams
• Experience with TypeScript, Kubernetes, event mesh architectures, and CI/CD tooling
• Familiarity with multi-tenant architecture, identity federation, and security patterns

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platform services and development frameworks
• Exposure to supply chain management processes and enterprise modules
• Knowledge of vector databases, generative AI integration, and agentic orchestration frameworks

AI Readiness: Our client expects architects to work effectively with AI tools. You should demonstrate habitual, critical use of AI assistants in engineering and design work, AI-assisted architecture documentation, and experience designing AI-native product capabilities while assessing cost, latency, and operational risk.

Pay
