Senior Specialist, Account Management

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Senior Specialist, Account Management to join their team in London. Our client powers digital payment experiences for some of the world's most recognizable brands, processing billions of transactions annually. This is an opportunity to work with strategic enterprise accounts in a fast-paced, globally-minded environment where your commercial acumen and relationship-building skills will directly impact business growth.

As the primary advisor and point of contact for key accounts within the United Kingdom, you'll leverage your business expertise to drive expansion, deliver consultative guidance, and act as a trusted payment strategist. This role requires someone who thrives on autonomy, excels through self-motivation, and can influence stakeholders at all levels to create mutually beneficial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Grow a portfolio of existing enterprise merchants by identifying expansion opportunities, cross-selling value-add services, and increasing share of wallet
• Craft and execute merchant-specific account development plans with clear growth opportunities and paths to success
• Build high-touch, consultative relationships through regular face-to-face and virtual communications
• Deliver expertise, education, and guidance as a payment consultant helping merchants develop comprehensive global payment strategies
• Negotiate win-win pricing structures by understanding merchant revenue drivers and delivering sustainable outcomes
• Track merchant project deliverables and maintain accurate records in CRM tools including Salesforce and Clari
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Integration, and Support teams to ensure outstanding merchant experiences
• Provide data-based, metric-driven insights by analyzing numbers to build merchant confidence
• Drive cross-team learning through active knowledge sharing and process improvements

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of commercial experience in B2B Account Management or Relationship Management within the FinTech or Payments industry
• Proven track record of driving and exceeding revenue targets while managing strategic account portfolios
• Experience negotiating and structuring pricing strategy deals specific to the UK market
• Strong knowledge of e-commerce and payment technologies, major industry players, and emerging trends
• Customer-driven mindset with the ability to establish robust relationships with assigned customer base
• Multifaceted approach with ability to adapt to changing requirements and balance multiple opportunities concurrently
• Independent, high-achieving individual who excels in ambitious environments through self-motivation and personal drive
• Strong business acumen and gravitas to communicate and influence effectively at all organizational levels
