About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech client seeking a Manager, Operations and Strategy to join their CEO Office in London. This is a high-impact, hands-on operating role embedded within product teams to drive strategic initiatives, align stakeholders, and deliver measurable business outcomes at scale.

You will work alongside Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to lead complex projects from planning through launch, building scalable operating mechanisms and resolving blockers. This role offers high executive visibility and opportunities to grow into broader leadership responsibilities across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead major cross-functional strategic initiatives, creating alignment, clarifying ownership, managing risks, and ensuring effective launch execution
• Develop practical operating mechanisms and standards for planning, testing, launch readiness, governance, reporting, and decision-making processes
• Take ownership of specific processes and metrics where there are clear opportunities to improve speed, quality, or scalability
• Navigate ambiguity using first-principles thinking, data analysis, and sound judgment to identify root causes and design practical solutions
• Build trust with product teams by owning strategic initiatives and turning ambiguous priorities into clear, measurable delivery plans
• Create visibility into progress, bottlenecks, and performance through dashboards and data-driven reporting
• Align and constructively challenge stakeholders without formal authority, communicating concisely at the appropriate level

What We're Looking For

• Multiple years of experience in influential, cross-functional roles within fast-paced, high-performance environments such as strategy consulting, investment banking, product, operations, or high-growth companies
• Exceptional structured problem-solving ability with proven capacity to navigate ambiguity using data and first-principles thinking
• Track record of leading high-priority projects end to end—from problem framing and stakeholder alignment through implementation and measurable outcomes
• Strong data-driven decision-making skills; ability to identify the right metrics, own analysis, and create visibility into performance
• Willingness to understand processes at ground level and build or materially improve systems and workflows from scratch
• Demonstrated ownership and follow-through on complex work with lasting impact
• Excellent influence and communication skills; ability to address difficult issues directly and communicate clearly across organizational levels
• Background in STEM studies, high-level manufacturing, or professional services (management consulting, investment banking) valued but not essential
