(Senior) Solution Architect SAP MDM (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential consulting organization that serves global manufacturing leaders across machinery, automotive, life sciences, and chemical sectors. Our talent team is currently seeking a (Senior) Solution Architect SAP MDM to join their Master Data Management practice in Heidelberg, Germany.

This role focuses on enterprise-scale SAP Master Data Governance implementations, where professional MDM is the foundation for sustainable, efficient solution operations. You'll work with leading industrial companies to improve data quality, streamline business processes, and reduce costs in global application management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consulting and development for large and mid-sized industrial organizations with focus on master data management in manufacturing environments
• Independently analyze functional requirements and design solution concepts for SAP master data landscapes using ABAP 7.4+, HANA, BRF+, and SAPUI5
• Evaluate integration platforms and emerging SAP technologies (such as Data Intelligence) to support strategic knowledge building in MDM
• Advance proprietary master data product concepts and strategies for continuous improvement
• Work proactively and independently within project teams, including testing and documentation of software solutions
• Coach team members on technical and methodological topics
• Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals and client presentations
• Contribute to internal knowledge-building initiatives and competence center development

What We're Looking For

• University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or equivalent qualification
• Multiple years of experience as SAP Developer or SAP Architect
• Significant experience in Master Data Management with very strong knowledge of SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) or other leading MDM technologies
• Excellent skills in SAP development and technologies: ABAP, ABAP/OO, HANA, AMDP, BRF+, Fiori/SAPUI5, OData
• Additional programming knowledge in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS is desirable
• Experience with interface design and implementation (e.g., SRM, Salesforce, ARIBA, SAP CX, ECTR)
• Foundational knowledge in at least one SAP Logistics module
• Very good German and English language skills
