Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential SAP consulting organization seeking an experienced SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Developer to join their team in Heidelberg. In this role, you will provide technical consulting and lead technology streams in complex transformation projects for global industrial clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Serving as technical consultant and sub-project lead for the technology stream in large-scale SAP GTS implementations
- Leading the technology stream as Solution Architect or Technical Project Lead from presales through go-live phases
- Independently analyzing functional customer requirements and designing IT solutions using modern technologies including ABAP 7.4+, RAP, HANA, SAPUI5, and IoT within SAP GTS environments
- Providing technical leadership, coaching, and development of team members on both technical and methodological matters
- Evaluating emerging SAP technologies and supporting strategic knowledge building initiatives
What We're Looking For
Our client requires candidates with:
- Completed university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or comparable fields
- Several years of professional experience as an SAP Developer or SAP Architect
- Strong expertise in SAP development and technologies (ABAP, ABAP/OO, RAP, HANA, AMDP, Fiori/SAPUI5, OData)
- Additional knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
- Foundational knowledge of SAP Global Trade Services (GTS)
- Excellent German and English language skills
