Senior Consultant SAP Basis Technology (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

Our client, a confidential SAP consulting organization, is seeking a Senior Consultant for SAP Basis Technology. In this role, you will work on innovative projects across on-premise and cloud environments, designing technical architectures for complex SAP landscapes. You'll advise on and execute SAP system migrations including relocation, OS/DB migrations, and HANA transitions.

Your responsibilities include:

• Technical conception of complex SAP architectures in both on-premise and cloud settings
• Evaluation of new technologies and supporting targeted knowledge development
• Consulting and implementation of SAP system migrations (relocation, OS/DB migrations, HANA)
• Active participation in building and expanding SAP Basis Technology expertise within the team
• Consulting and execution of system optimizations including SAP Security, Performance, Mobility, and UIX
• Training and coaching colleagues on interdisciplinary technical knowledge and methodological approaches

What We're Looking For

We are representing our client in the search for a consultant with several years of professional experience in SAP Basis and strong knowledge of SAP architectures. The ideal candidate brings relevant expertise in Unix, Windows, and database administration.

Required qualifications:

• Multiple years of experience in SAP Basis with demonstrated knowledge of SAP architectures
• Solid skills in Unix, Windows, and database administration
• Programming skills are advantageous
• Interest and experience with current topics such as S/4 HANA, Security, and Cloud technologies
• Very good German and English language skills
• Willingness to travel, including occasional international assignments
• Strong communication abilities
