Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential cybersecurity organization seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a new product team. In this high-impact role, you will:
- Design and build a clean, scalable full-stack application using TypeScript and Python, deployable in both SaaS and on-premise environments
- Develop complex visualization flows, advanced logging capabilities, and agent configuration systems
- Refine software architecture to support AI integrations and cross-product data correlation
- Prototype rapidly, iterating on concepts and being comfortable refactoring or removing code as product vision evolves
- Engage with the open-source community through GitHub and Slack, responding to user questions and feedback
- Help establish development processes and team culture as one of the founding members of this squad
- Collaborate closely with engineering leadership and AI teams to align on technical standards
What We're Looking For
Our client needs a senior engineer with:
- Strong proficiency in both TypeScript and Python with proven full-stack development experience
- Architectural thinking and experience with GenAI frameworks (Agentic, RAG, or LLM implementations)
- Ownership mentality and comfort navigating uncertainty in early-stage product development
- Full-stack mastery across frontend interfaces (building intuitive configuration wizards) and backend logic (API design, permission models)
- Proficiency in English and French
- Experience launching projects from the ground up
Bonus qualifications:
- Familiarity with cyber threat intelligence standards or security frameworks
- Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects
