Our talent team is representing a confidential on-demand logistics client in London. This is a hybrid role requiring approximately 3 days per week in the office. We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer - iOS to join their Consumer team, responsible for building and scaling mobile architecture that serves millions of users daily.

Responsibilities

As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will contribute meaningfully to achieving technical goals across multiple teams:

• Design and scale robust iOS architecture, ensuring the mobile codebase remains modular, testable, and maintainable
• Ship readable, well-designed software through rigorous code reviews and by setting high engineering standards
• Continuously simplify the maintenance of production systems, focusing on visibility, crash rates, and overall app performance
• Partner closely with Product and Design to break down complex problems and shape a roadmap that balances feature delivery with technical debt
• Proactively assist in the growth of colleagues, guiding technical choices and participating in the hiring process

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks candidates with strong expertise in iOS development and a curiosity to grow:

• Significant experience building iOS applications with deep understanding of Swift and/or Objective-C
• Proven ability to scale mobile architecture within a large-scale codebase, ensuring performance and stability for millions of users
• Demonstrated ownership of technical delivery within a cross-functional team, ideally within a fast-paced product environment
• Expertise in modern iOS frameworks, including strong command of UIKit and AutoLayout
• Commitment to quality with a natural inclination toward writing well-tested code and implementing CI/CD best practices
• Effective communication skills with ability to translate technical trade-offs for non-technical stakeholders
