Join Oracle as a Senior Reliability Engineer in Washington, D.C., US, and lead critical reliability initiatives that strengthen our enterprise infrastructure. This full-time position offers the opportunity to drive meaningful improvements across electrical, mechanical, and controls systems while working with world-class engineering teams to ensure our facilities operate at the highest levels of performance and maintainability.
What You'll Do
- Lead comprehensive reliability assessments and improvement initiatives across electrical, mechanical, and controls-related infrastructure
- Review facility acceptance and commissioning activities to verify systems are delivered in a reliable, supportable, and maintainable condition
- Design and implement advanced maintenance strategies that enhance uptime, reduce complexity, and optimize equipment lifecycles
- Analyze system performance data and failure patterns to identify root causes and recommend preventive improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, and facilities to develop and execute reliability improvements
- Document assessments, recommendations, and implementation progress to support continuous improvement efforts
- Partner with stakeholders to communicate technical findings and build consensus around reliability initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Professional experience in infrastructure reliability engineering, facility operations, or related technical discipline
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical equipment, HVAC systems, and industrial process controls
- Demonstrated expertise in facility commissioning, system acceptance testing, and validation procedures
- Experience conducting reliability assessments and designing maintenance improvement strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail in technical documentation
- Excellent communication abilities to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
