Consulting Practice Manager

Oracle is seeking a Consulting Practice Manager to lead a specialized practice segment serving clients in Lansing, Ingham County. In this full-time management role, you'll drive strategy across people leadership, service delivery, and business growth, with accountability for practice financials and operational success.

About the Role

This position leads a focused practice area—defined by industry vertical, service capability, technology domain, or geographic market—where you'll oversee all operational aspects. You'll be responsible for building and mentoring a high-performing team, optimizing service delivery to drive client outcomes, and generating new business opportunity. The role offers an opportunity to shape practice strategy while managing profit and loss performance.

Core Duties

• Lead, develop, and retain a team of consulting professionals and subject matter experts
• Oversee project delivery, resource allocation, and quality to meet or exceed client expectations and profitability targets
• Build and execute a sales and business development strategy to grow practice revenue and expand the client base
• Manage practice budget, expenses, and financial performance against targets
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify growth opportunities in your assigned market or service line
• Champion thought leadership, capability development, and continuous improvement within the practice

Skills & Qualifications

• Significant professional experience in consulting delivery, client services, or professional services management
• Demonstrated ability to manage P&L and control operating expenses
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities
• Proven success in business development, sales strategy, or revenue growth
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor's degree in business, management, or related field
• Familiarity with Oracle products, services, or technology platforms (preferred)
