About This Position

We're seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to support our expanding service operations. You'll be part of a skilled team that diagnoses, repairs, and maintains the commercial trucks and trailers that keep fleets moving. This is a day-shift, full-time role where your hands-on expertise directly contributes to customer satisfaction and fleet uptime.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and reefer units
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventive service according to manufacturer specifications
• Use diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to identify and resolve complex issues
• Execute fabrication and custom modification work as needed for fleet solutions
• Document all service work accurately and maintain detailed records
• Adhere to all safety protocols and proper equipment handling procedures

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience repairing and maintaining heavy-duty commercial trucks and trailers
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems, and electrical components
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and technical service manuals
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• ASE certification (preferred) or equivalent demonstrated competency
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
