Senior Recruiter (Contractor)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential visual technology client in their search for a Senior Recruiter on a contract basis. This is a 3-4 month mission based in Paris, working 4-5 days per week with our client's talent team. The role offers the possibility of renewal and requires regular on-site collaboration approximately 3 days per week in central Paris.

Our client operates in the visual technology space and maintains a full-stack recruiting model where you'll run searches across multiple functions simultaneously rather than specializing in a single vertical. You'll typically manage 5-7 active roles at any given time, spanning GTM, G&A, Product, and Engineering functions.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete recruitment cycle from kickoff through offer, maintaining a high standard for candidate experience with timely, meaningful feedback at every stage
• Run concurrent searches across different business functions (GTM, G&A, Product, Engineering), adapting quickly as hiring priorities shift
• Source proactively for the majority of your roles, focusing on quality and personalized outreach rather than volume while building genuinely diverse candidate pipelines
• Partner directly with hiring managers to refine role requirements, calibrate expectations, and guide selection and offer decisions
• Balance immediate delivery needs with process improvement by using pipeline data to identify bottlenecks and building tooling or automation to streamline repetitive work
• Leverage AI tools to enhance recruiting efficiency and effectiveness

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of recruiting experience (in-house, embedded, or agency-side) with demonstrated range across multiple functions rather than depth in a single vertical
• Proven ability to own searches end-to-end and partner directly with hiring managers, not just deliver shortlists
• Strong track record in proactive sourcing with specific examples of difficult searches you've successfully filled and how you built those pipelines
• Ability to quickly get up to speed on unfamiliar functions through hiring manager conversations, market research, and independent judgment
• Excellent communication skills and proven success closing candidates, comfortable working with senior stakeholders across any function
• Hands-on experience with tools and automation—you can point to specific workflows, automations, or AI-assisted processes you've built or streamlined
• Familiarity with ATS platforms (client uses Ashby), LinkedIn Recruiter, and AI tools like Claude or similar
• Based in or around Paris with availability to work on-site regularly
• Ability to start within a short notice period, ideally early October

Pay
