Senior QA Engineer | London

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology organization in their search for a Senior QA Engineer to establish and lead quality assurance across a large and growing web platform. This is a critical role based in London, responsible for introducing structure, consistency, and confidence into the release process.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement QA processes and standards for the organization
• Perform manual testing across multiple websites and applications
• Own regression testing for releases, migrations, and new features
• Act as the quality gate before production releases
• Define and begin implementing a test automation strategy
• Select appropriate tools and identify areas suitable for automation
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to improve quality practices
• Mentor junior QA engineers as the team grows

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years of QA experience, primarily web-focused
• Strong background in manual testing
• Experience setting up QA processes from scratch
• Familiarity with modern web stacks and CMS platforms
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have:

• Automation experience with tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium
• Experience with accessibility or performance testing
• Previous lead or senior QA role
