Senior Project Manager – Digital Communications (all genders)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital services organization seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex digital communications initiatives. Our talent team is looking for an experienced professional who can drive CMS-based website projects and digital information platforms from conception through delivery and ongoing optimization.

This role sits at the intersection of technology, digital communications strategy, creative development, and content management. You'll work with interdisciplinary teams to deliver solutions that have meaningful impact, coordinating between technical specialists, UX designers, content creators, and communications strategists.

Location: Bremen, Germany (flexible/remote options available)

Responsibilities

• Lead complex digital implementation projects focused on CMS-based websites, information platforms, and digital communications solutions, maintaining control over scope, budget, quality, and timelines
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand requirements and translate business challenges into concrete project objectives and deliverable solutions
• Coordinate interdisciplinary teams spanning technology, digital communications consulting, creative, content, and user experience disciplines
• Identify growth opportunities and development potential within existing client relationships, extending projects beyond initial delivery
• Contribute project expertise to proposals, tenders, and pitch processes
• Manage diverse stakeholder groups with clarity and professionalism, even in complex project situations
• Apply appropriate project methodologies—agile or traditional—based on specific project needs

What We're Looking For

• Several years of proven experience managing digital implementation projects, ideally involving websites, information platforms, or CMS-based solutions
• Strategic project management approach—you see projects as opportunities to shape solutions and develop client relationships, not just administrative exercises
• Strong ability to understand client challenges, recognize potential, and develop suitable solutions alongside interdisciplinary teams
• Comfort working with both technical development teams and creative/communications disciplines including UX, design, and content
• Knowledge of multiple project management methodologies with ability to select the right approach for each situation (certifications welcomed but not required)
• Experience in presales, business development, tender responses, or proposal development is advantageous
• Public sector or public-adjacent project experience strongly preferred
• Completed university degree or equivalent practical qualification
• Excellent German language skills in both written and verbal communication
• Confident stakeholder communication abilities across all organizational levels
