Senior Performance Marketing Manager – Performance Marketing, MMM & AI (m/w/d)

We are representing a leading European e-commerce organization in the home goods sector, seeking a Senior Performance Marketing Manager to join their team in Berlin. This role offers genuine ownership across multiple marketing channels and the opportunity to pioneer AI-driven marketing optimization at scale. Responsibilities

• Strategic channel and budget management: Develop and execute cross-channel performance marketing strategies using Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) to achieve revenue, efficiency, lead generation, and brand awareness goals
• Multi-platform campaign optimization: Manage and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta, Pinterest, Reddit Ads, and affiliate partnerships with consistent budget allocation and targeting logic
• AI integration and workflow innovation: Drive implementation of Large Language Models (Claude, Gemini, etc.) for automated cross-channel campaign data analysis; develop prompts and workflows for accelerated reporting, anomaly detection, and budget optimization
• Performance analysis: Monitor and analyze key metrics (CPO, ROAS, CAC, conversion rate) using GA4 and server-side tracking infrastructure (server-side GTM); evaluate AI-powered bidding and automation features across advertising platforms
• Tracking implementation: Set up and maintain tracking systems (Conversion APIs, UTM conventions) ensuring clean, privacy-compliant data foundations
• Continuous testing: Own ongoing A/B tests and budget experiments to drive performance improvements across all channels
• Partner management: Negotiate and develop vendor and partner agreements, particularly in the affiliate space; collaborate closely with design, content, and IT teams on campaign coordination
• Team mentorship: Provide guidance and onboarding support to junior team members, sharing AI knowledge and best practices

What We're Looking For

• Education: Completed degree in Business, Marketing, Media, Communications, or comparable qualification
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in performance marketing with cross-channel expertise (SEA, Paid Social, Affiliate) and proven budget or project leadership; initial people management experience is advantageous
• AI expertise (essential): Hands-on experience using AI tools and LLMs in marketing contexts (prompting for reporting, analysis, forecasting); active follower of current AI trends with passion for implementation
• Technical proficiency: Strong analytical capabilities; expert-level use of GA4 and standard attribution/reporting tools; deep knowledge of at least one core channel (Google Ads or Meta); experience with Bing, Pinterest, Reddit, affiliate marketing, and server-side tracking is highly valued
• Working style: Data-driven decision maker with solution-oriented thinking and genuine enthusiasm for e-commerce
• Languages: Fluent German and English required; additional languages are a plus
