Senior People Partner, HQ – Spain

Delivery Hero is seeking a Senior People Partner to join its headquarters-based human resources team in Barcelona, Spain. This is a full-time, remote position focused on delivering strategic people solutions and fostering a thriving organisational culture across our operations.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an accomplished HR professional to lead people initiatives that support the continued growth of our Barcelona headquarters. In this Senior People Partner role, you'll collaborate across departments to shape how we attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent. You'll work directly with business leaders to translate people strategies into sustainable competitive advantage, and champion an inclusive workplace where team members flourish and deliver their best work.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders and department heads to translate business priorities into effective people and talent strategies
• Lead recruitment initiatives, including crafting job specifications, managing candidate evaluation, and supporting hiring managers throughout the process
• Manage the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding and performance management to career development and transitions
• Design and implement employee engagement programmes that strengthen retention and foster a sense of belonging
• Ensure full compliance with Spanish employment law, collective agreements, and Delivery Hero's HR policies
• Lead organisational development efforts that support structural changes and business transformation
• Identify and nurture emerging talent and future leaders within the company

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of human resources experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic people partner or business partner role
• Comprehensive understanding of Spanish labour law, employment regulations, and collective bargaining practices
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and influence leaders at all organisational levels
• Background in fast-growing, dynamic environments—ideally within logistics, e-commerce, or technology sectors
• Strong communicator and trusted adviser with the ability to impact senior stakeholders
• Fluent in English and Spanish; Spanish fluency is essential
• Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and excellent organisational capabilities
