CNC Machinist 2nd Shift

About This Position

As a CNC Machinist on the 2nd Shift, you'll operate computer numerical control machines in a busy manufacturing environment, executing production runs with precision and reliability. This role centers on configuring and running machines based on detailed engineering specifications, monitoring equipment performance throughout your shift, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. You'll work directly with technical blueprints to ensure every part meets our quality standards. This is a full-time position with consistent scheduling and clear production responsibilities.

Your Responsibilities

• Configure and set up CNC machines to match engineering prints and specifications
• Load production materials and unload finished parts with attention to quality and safety
• Operate machines through complete production cycles and monitor real-time performance
• Inspect finished components to verify they meet dimensional and quality requirements
• Monitor equipment condition and identify tool wear, damage, or other mechanical issues
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including tool changes and component adjustments
• Complete assigned production runs and track output metrics
• Coordinate with team members and supervisors on production schedules and priorities

Who We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience operating and setting up CNC machinery
• Comfort reading and interpreting technical blueprints and production drawings
• Understanding of cutting tools, machine parameters, and tool offsets
• Detail-oriented approach to quality control and precision manufacturing
• Problem-solving ability and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Consistent attendance and commitment to 2nd shift work hours
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing production setting
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with colleagues and supervisors
