About the Role

As a Sterilization Operator you will work within a regulated manufacturing environment, ensuring that every batch of lenses undergoes proper sterilization cycles before moving to packaging and distribution. This position supports CooperCompanies’ commitment to delivering safe, high‑vision‑care products to customers worldwide.

What You'll Do

• Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves or ethylene oxide systems according to validated procedures.
• Monitor cycle parameters, record data, and verify sterility indicators for each load.
• Prepare products for sterilization, including loading, unloading, and transferring lenses to packaging lines.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and calibration of sterilization apparatus.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and good manufacturing practices (GMP) to maintain compliance.
• Document all activities in batch records and assist with investigations of any deviations.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and production teams to resolve issues and improve process efficiency.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, sterile processing, or pharmaceutical setting.
• Familiarity with sterilization methods, equipment operation, and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions precisely.
• Good communication skills and the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry and record keeping.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
