Senior Onboarding consultant

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential workforce management technology client in their search for a Senior Onboarding Consultant based in London. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex implementation projects for mid-market and enterprise customers in shift-based industries.

As part of our client's customer success organization, you will own the end-to-end onboarding journey for strategically important accounts, combining deep product expertise with technical aptitude to ensure customers achieve rapid time-to-value and strong adoption.

Responsibilities

• Project manage comprehensive onboarding and multi-site implementations for upper mid-market and enterprise customer portfolios
• Act as primary implementation lead for customers with advanced operational or technical requirements, including complex workflows and multi-site setups
• Run detailed discovery sessions to understand customer goals, business processes, and implementation risks, translating findings into clear onboarding plans
• Guide customers through solution design and configuration decisions to ensure alignment with business needs and long-term success
• Lead implementation conversations with diverse stakeholders including operational, commercial, technical, and executive contacts
• Proactively identify delivery risks, technical blockers, and adoption challenges, driving them through to resolution
• Support customers through change management and go-live planning to ensure successful launches
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Support, and Product teams to deliver seamless customer experiences
• Maintain strong implementation governance and accurate CRM records
• Use customer insights to improve onboarding playbooks and implementation processes
• Contribute to team knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in onboarding, implementation, or customer success within a SaaS environment, with ownership of complex customer engagements
• Strong SaaS implementation experience leading structured rollout processes from kickoff to go-live
• Technical aptitude and confidence discussing system configuration, workflow design, and integration considerations
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders across operational, technical, and leadership audiences
• Ability to run excellent discovery and translate customer needs into practical implementation plans
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to simplify complex topics
• Excellent project management, time management, and prioritisation skills across concurrent customer journeys
• Proactive, self-directed approach with strong ownership and comfort operating autonomously
• Empathy and solutions-focused mindset paired with confidence to challenge constructively when needed
• Proficiency with CRM systems and customer engagement tools
• High professionalism and collaborative, team-oriented approach
• Experience in workforce-intensive industries such as hospitality, retail, healthcare, or shift-based environments preferred
• Experience with technically involved implementations including integrations and complex business process design highly desirable
