Senior .NET Developer, SaaS Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity SaaS organization in their search for a Senior.NET Developer to join their platform team. Our client operates at enterprise scale, serving hundreds of thousands of businesses globally, and has recently expanded their product suite through a strategic acquisition. This is a remote role open to candidates across Canada and the United States, ideally with availability during Eastern Time hours.

You'll be joining a team building a platform that helps IT and Security teams discover, govern, and optimize their AI and SaaS ecosystems. This is real, complex work: managing uncontrolled AI spend, shadow IT, SaaS sprawl, and intricate access lifecycles. Following a recent acquisition, the team brings together a collaborative, startup-minded culture with the resources and mission of an established security leader.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and delivery of complex features end-to-end, from initial scoping through production, with minimal guidance and a high standard for what "done" means
• Contribute to and lead technical design discussions within your team: write clear design documents, surface risks early, propose solutions, and build consensus around the right approach
• Set and uphold best practices within the team including testing strategies, code quality norms, and observability standards through code reviews and hands-on involvement
• Partner closely with product managers and designers to understand customer problems, advocate for sound engineering, and help the team make good tradeoffs
• Bring a practical, hands-on perspective on where agentic AI tools create genuine leverage in your workflow and share what works with your teammates
• Champion technical innovation within your team: evaluate new tools and approaches critically, advocate for the ones worth adopting, and help your teammates understand why

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of software development experience with strong working knowledge of.NET/C#/MongoDB or similar technologies
• Ability to tackle large, complex engineering problems with a high degree of independence
• Subject matter expertise in the features and systems your team owns; you identify gaps, propose improvements, and leave code meaningfully better than you found it
• High bar for code quality through thorough code reviews, strong test coverage, and clear documentation; you share your reasoning in a way that helps others grow
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical contexts: you can write clear design docs, facilitate productive engineering discussions, and explain hard problems without losing the plot
• Practical, curious approach to agentic AI in the software development lifecycle: you use it where it creates real leverage, form opinions about what's useful, and share learnings with your team
• Strong mentorship skills: you guide less experienced developers through pair programming, code review feedback, and technical conversations in ways that build confidence and independence

Bonus points for:

• Experience evolving a legacy or growth-stage application into an enterprise-scale platform
• Comfort across a wide range of technical stacks (.NET/C#, MongoDB, Go, Rust, TypeScript, React); you evaluate technology on its merits and pick up new languages quickly

Pay

USA-based candidates: Pay via Get A Job.ai is between $153,000 USD and $214,000 USD annually, plus benefits, equity, and participation in incentive programs where applicable.

Canada-based candidates: Pay via Get A Job.ai is between $144,000 CAD and $202,000 CAD annually, plus benefits, equity, and participation in incentive programs where applicable.
