Senior Media Consultant (Mensch)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential media agency in Düsseldorf seeking a Senior Media Consultant to serve as the strategic lead and sparring partner for client accounts. In this role, you will take ownership of demanding mandates, steer complex media projects, and actively drive the strategic evolution of client relationships.

• Strategic Client Advisory: Provide confident counsel to decision-makers, deeply understand business objectives, and establish long-term, trust-based partnerships.
• Strategy Development & Innovation: Lead the creation of tailored, data-driven omnichannel media strategies and proactively set the agenda on emerging trends and focus topics.
• Holistic Campaign Management: Oversee and optimize complex, cross-channel advertising campaigns from concept through execution to post-campaign analysis and learning frameworks.
• Market & Competitive Analysis: Anticipate market and competitive dynamics, identify new opportunities, and translate insights into concrete growth potential for clients.
• Budget Responsibility & Performance: Manage substantial advertising budgets strategically to continuously maximize client ROI.
• Cross-Functional Leadership & Mentoring: Serve as the central interface throughout campaign lifecycles, unite internal specialist departments, and mentor junior team members.

What We're Looking For

• Substantial Professional Experience: Approximately 4+ years in media planning, agency environments, or media consulting, with proven success independently managing complex accounts.
• Excellent Market & Trend Understanding: Detailed knowledge of media dynamics (digital and traditional), awareness of emerging technologies, and ability to leverage market changes profitably.
• Strategic Advisory Competence: Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to translate multifaceted client needs into successful media roadmaps.
• Strong Analytics & ROI Focus: Comfortable working with complex metrics and data analysis, deriving precise action recommendations.
• Compelling Presentation Skills: Confident pitching and presenting at C-level, engaging audiences through strong storytelling and authentic presence.
• Personal Attributes: Strategic thinking, solution-oriented approach, and innovative mindset.
• Language: Professional proficiency in German required for this Düsseldorf-based role.
