Senior Marketing Manager – Government Solutions (f/m/x)

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential satellite analytics organization in Berlin. They combine advanced earth observation technology with AI to deliver monitoring solutions across infrastructure and industrial sectors throughout Europe and beyond.

The Government Solutions division is expanding rapidly across Germany and EU institutions. As the first dedicated marketing professional for this vertical, you will build the entire defence and government marketing function from scratch—owning positioning, content strategy, PR, and events as a true generalist.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own all government and defence positioning, messaging, and value propositions around resilience, situational awareness, and intelligence capabilities
• Create and maintain the complete collateral suite: capability briefs, presentation decks, tender support materials, and competitive positioning documents
• Build and execute the strategic communications plan including white papers, expert articles, use-case stories, and press releases for contracts, partnerships, and milestones
• Establish relationships with defence, security, and space trade media across Germany and Europe
• Drive executive visibility through LinkedIn presence, media interviews, and speaking opportunities for Government leadership
• Own the defence and government event calendar across Europe (AFCEA, Berlin Security Conference, ILA, Eurosatory, NATO-affiliated formats, and space industry events)
• Manage event participation end-to-end: selection, budget, booth presence, speaking slots, team briefings, and structured lead follow-up
• Create the Government marketing playbook from the ground up—processes, templates, and external network development
• Track effectiveness metrics (share of voice, inbound interest, event outcomes) and integrate findings into planning with business development and central marketing

What We're Looking For

• 6–7+ years of marketing, sales, or similar experience in the defense or security sector with familiarity in defence-tech, military terminology, and armed forces communication
• Generalist background covering product marketing, content creation, PR, and events—not limited to a single discipline
• Excellent writing and editing capabilities in German (C1+) and English, from press releases to capability briefs
• Understanding of how government and defense organizations communicate and procure, including protocol, sensitivity requirements, and long procurement cycles
• Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin (hybrid working model); willingness to travel approximately 20–30% across Europe
• Eligibility for security clearance (typically requiring EU or NATO citizenship)
• Familiarity with Earth observation, space, or geospatial technology is a strong plus
• Additional European languages (French especially valuable for EU/NATO contexts) is a plus
• Public affairs or government relations exposure is beneficial
