Praktikum Digital Analytics (m/w/d)| Ab September, München

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential digital transformation consultancy seeking an intern for their Digital Analytics team in München, starting September. This is a hands-on role building measurement frameworks for AI-powered search visibility—a field evolving faster than any textbook.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Executing defined prompt sets regularly across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, and Google AI Mode to measure which brands and sources are cited, tracking changes over time to build the data foundation for emerging AI visibility methodologies
• Preparing SEO data from crawls (Screaming Frog), Search Console exports, and competitive ranking comparisons, transforming raw data into actionable formats and flagging anomalies
• Analyzing log files to verify how AI crawlers (GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot) access client sites and identifying if they are inadvertently blocked
• Testing tracking implementations to confirm events fire correctly, consent states function properly, and data remains plausible across GA4 and Google Tag Manager
• Building data foundations for monthly client reports, learning which metrics drive decisions versus merely filling slides
• Documenting methodology—prompt sets, definitions, measurement limitations—creating sustainable processes that outlast your internship
• Participating in team meetings, asking why we approach problems certain ways, and contributing fresh perspectives when existing methods need questioning

What We're Looking For

• Master's student in data, marketing, business, media, or computer science—or someone from another path who can articulate why this field captivates you
• At least one relevant prior role working within a team facing real deadlines: previous internship or working student position at an agency, consultancy, B2B company, international corporation, freelance client work, or your own project with customers—this prior experience helps you ramp up significantly faster
• Meticulous attention to detail; repeatable measurement demands precision, and accuracy matters more here than any tool certification
• Genuine curiosity about AI beyond usage—you've wondered where ChatGPT and Perplexity answers actually originate; one personal observation means more to us than a list of tools
• Solid Excel or Google Sheets skills with comfort handling larger datasets; initial exposure to SQL, GA4, or Search Console is a plus
• Independence within structure: you ask clarifying questions rather than guessing, then work autonomously without requiring oversight
• Excellent German and confident English
• Minimum 6-month availability; shorter periods don't allow sufficient time beyond initial onboarding

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: €1,800 gross per month (full-time basis; pro-rated for part-time arrangements).
