Business Development Representative

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential workforce technology client in their search for a Business Development Representative to join their London team on a hybrid basis. Our client serves frontline organizations with innovative staffing and operations solutions, and they're experiencing significant growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career sales professional to develop core skills with dedicated mentorship from senior Account Executives. You'll work in a structured, high-performing environment while having genuine impact on business development strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospects in target verticals including social care and hospitality sectors
• Conduct outbound calling to strategic contacts at director and C-suite level
• Lead discovery calls and qualify opportunities for the sales team
• Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop compelling outreach strategies
• Test and refine messaging across all funnel stages to optimize conversion
• Schedule qualified meetings between prospects and Account Executives
• Represent the organization at relevant industry events and trade shows
• Experiment with new approaches to drive pipeline growth and achieve targets

What We're Looking For

• At least 6-12 months of experience in a sales development role at a tech or software company
• Demonstrated ambition, resilience, and passion for career growth in sales
• Comfort with outbound calling to senior decision-makers (C-suite, directors)
• Strong curiosity and ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
• Self-directed approach with consistent drive to hit and exceed targets
• Interest in sales psychology and communication techniques
• Willingness to test new messaging and continuously improve conversion rates
• Ability to work hybrid in London (office presence Monday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Pay

Base salary range: £40,000 - £47,000 with 50% OTE bonus structure. Equity options available. This is the compensation offered by our client; Get A Job.ai placement fees are paid separately by the employer.
