About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential automotive media organization in their search for a Business Director to lead their in-house creative agency serving major automotive manufacturer clients. This is a senior leadership role based in London where you'll drive commercial growth, own strategic client relationships, and build scalable creative solutions that deliver measurable impact.

You'll bridge commercial strategy, creative development, and production teams while shaping the agency's operating model for sustainable growth across multiple European markets.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue performance and growth trajectory across all markets, identifying new opportunities in creative campaigns, always-on content, product launches, and strategic partnerships
• Drive revenue diversification from one-off projects into longer-term, higher-margin partnerships with clear commercial frameworks for pricing, packaging, and margin discipline
• Manage senior relationships with automotive manufacturer marketing stakeholders, positioning the agency as a strategic creative partner through brief development, creative solutioning, proposal creation, and pitch presentations
• Build and manage a robust pipeline across markets, working closely with commercial teams to identify opportunities within existing partnerships and convert one-off campaigns into strategic retainers
• Establish scalable delivery processes including resource planning, project workflow, cross-market coordination, and clear reporting on project performance and profitability
• Lead and develop client services and delivery teams, building capability across client servicing, commercial thinking, and creative strategy while fostering a high-performance culture

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience in a senior commercial or client leadership role within a creative, media, or agency environment
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing senior client relationships
• Strong understanding of brand and performance marketing, content and creative production; automotive/manufacturer marketing experience strongly preferred
• Experience building pipelines, leading pitches, and converting strategic partnerships
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to balance creativity and profitability
• Experience working across multiple markets and cross-functional teams
• Commercially driven and outcome-focused mindset with credibility at senior stakeholder level
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability and strong communication skills
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, scaling environment with high ownership mentality
