Senior Manager, FP&A

About This Opportunity

We are representing a high-growth enterprise software organization seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to serve as the finance business partner to their corporate or go-to-market leadership. This is a remote position offering the opportunity to own critical P&Ls, build driver-based financial models, and directly influence investment decisions alongside senior executives.

In this role, you will tackle some of the most consequential questions in SaaS finance: resource allocation, investment prioritization, and strategic planning. You'll manage a Senior Financial Analyst, lead planning cadences, and help scale finance operations through automation and AI-augmented workflows.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance partner to senior leadership, supporting decisions on hiring, investment prioritization, and resource allocation
• Own P&Ls end-to-end including budgeting, monthly forecasting, variance analysis, and executive reporting
• Build and continuously improve driver-based financial models for long-range planning, bookings forecasts, and ad hoc strategic analyses
• Lead annual, quarterly, and monthly planning cadences, integrating inputs from business partners into corporate forecasts
• Manage and develop one Senior Financial Analyst, setting priorities and raising the bar on analytical quality and speed
• Administer enterprise planning platform (Adaptive Planning) and drive AI-augmented workflows to improve FP&A efficiency and scalability

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 6+ years of progressive FP&A or strategic finance experience, including direct partnership with C-level executives
• Direct people management experience—you've hired, coached, and managed performance of finance team members
• Deep fluency in SaaS cost structures and unit economics, including cloud/hosting costs, CoGS vs. OpEx, and gross margin drivers
• Proven driver-based modeling skills with the ability to forecast from usage and consumption drivers
• Hands-on experience building models in an enterprise planning platform (Adaptive, Anaplan, Pigment, Planful, or similar)
• Advanced spreadsheet skills and strong technical proficiency
• Executive-ready communication skills with the ability to work autonomously with focus, integrity, and humility

Preferred qualifications:

• Specific experience with Adaptive Planning platform administration
• Salesforce experience
• Experience using AI tools to automate finance workflows
