Senior IoT/Cloud Engineer (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential sports technology organization in their search for a Senior IoT/Cloud Engineer. In this role, you will serve as a technical reference for a core IoT platform that connects millions of users worldwide to their connected products.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Quality Engineering: Design, develop, and deliver clean, tested, and maintainable code while meeting project deadlines
• Technical Leadership: Guide the team in developing new features and implementing high-performance REST APIs
• Operational Excellence: Follow engineering best practices to achieve the highest standards of product maturity
• Architecture & Scalability: Design reusable components and anticipate scaling and reliability requirements for cloud solutions
• Continuous Improvement: Use operational data and industry trends to suggest ongoing optimizations for stability and performance

You'll work with a technical stack including AWS IoT Core, Lambda, S3, Serverless, Java, Spring Boot, Terraform, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Postgres, and Kafka.

What We're Looking For

• Proven expertise in IoT with deep mastery of AWS IoT Core
• Ability to design robust and scalable technical architectures
• Technical proficiency working with Kubernetes
• Experience with functional facilitation (pair programming, code reviews) to help the team grow
• Open-mindedness, curiosity, and a desire to progress in a stimulating environment
• Strong technical leadership skills and collaborative mindset

This is a permanent position based in Lille or Paris with hybrid work arrangements. The role requires fluency in French and English for collaboration with international teams.
