International Data Acquisition Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential identity verification technology organization seeking an International Data Acquisition Manager to join their growing team remotely in the United Kingdom. Our client is expanding their global data infrastructure to support identity verification and fraud prevention solutions across international markets.

In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing third-party data providers across multiple regions, with particular focus on the EU, UK, and LATAM markets. You'll work at the intersection of data strategy, vendor management, and product development to expand geographic coverage and enhance solution performance.

Responsibilities

• Support evaluation, onboarding, and ongoing management of international third-party data vendors across multiple product lines
• Prepare RFIs, RFPs, and vendor assessments to evaluate provider capabilities, data quality, compliance posture, and commercial value
• Maintain auditable documentation for purchased data, vendor status, usage rights, contractual constraints, and performance metrics
• Research and evaluate new international data sources for identity verification, fraud prevention, KYC/eKYC, and document verification use cases
• Conduct due diligence for prospective data sources, including quality assessments, coverage analysis, compliance reviews, and performance testing
• Partner with Product, Data Science, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Procurement teams to align priorities and plan integrations
• Monitor and report on data quality metrics, vendor performance, feed reliability, and coordinate remediation of issues
• Manage day-to-day vendor communications, issue resolution, and documentation across the data acquisition lifecycle
• Track cost, usage, and value metrics to support budgeting, renewals, and vendor prioritization decisions

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data acquisition, vendor management, procurement, partnerships, data operations, or related field
• Proven experience evaluating or managing third-party data providers across multiple markets or jurisdictions
• Strong analytical skills with ability to assess data quality, business value, and operational trade-offs
• Working knowledge of regulatory and privacy frameworks including UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and data protection requirements
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with experience maintaining structured documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to manage shifting priorities in fast-paced environments

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with data vendors in identity verification, fraud prevention, financial services, regtech, or compliance markets
• Familiarity with international identity, KYC/eKYC, or watchlist-related data ecosystems
• Knowledge of global data landscapes including government, credit bureau, mobile network, utility, or electoral data sources
• Understanding of data integration concepts including APIs, batch delivery, schemas, and operationalizing external data feeds
• Experience using SQL or similar tools for data analysis and evaluation
• Experience working with UK and European market data providers
