Senior HR Tech Business Analyst — Automation & AI (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential mobility technology organization in their search for a Senior HR Tech Business Analyst — Automation & AI based in Berlin, Germany. Our client is at the forefront of digital transformation in people operations, building sophisticated automation and AI-powered solutions across the employee lifecycle.

In this role, you will bridge HR and technology — translating complex business challenges into scalable technical solutions. You'll work with HRIS platforms, automation tools, and AI applications to drive measurable improvements in how HR operates globally. This position reports to senior HR leadership and collaborates across European, APAC, and US time zones.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technology partner to HR teams across the hire-to-retire employee lifecycle — conduct gap analyses, challenge existing processes, identify automation opportunities, and translate business needs into functional and technical requirements
• Build, deploy, and maintain Claude-based applications and AI-powered internal tools, ensuring appropriate authentication (RBAC/ABAC), governance, and secure integration with HR systems via MCPs, APIs, and custom connectors
• Design and build AI and automation workflows using n8n, UiPath, Python, and GenAI/LLM technologies with proper orchestration, exception handling, monitoring, and governance
• Drive end-to-end HR Tech initiatives from requirements through SIT/UAT and go-live, including HRIS improvements, payroll transformations, and service delivery model enhancements
• Apply a product mindset to HR technology — create scalable solutions like Jira-based service desks, Rovo Agents, and AI-enabled employee experiences, continuously improving based on user feedback and business value

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of experience as an HR Tech Analyst, HR Business/Process Analyst, AI & Automation Analyst, or similar role with demonstrable HR domain knowledge across hire-to-retire processes (this is essential)
• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, HR Technology, Business Technology, or related field preferred
• Strong ability to analyze HR processes, translate business problems into functional/technical requirements, and implement solutions in complex technology environments
• Hands-on experience building AI and automation solutions with n8n, Python, UiPath, and GenAI/LLM tooling (n8n certification is a plus)
• Experience deploying internal applications in cloud environments, working with APIs, MCPs, custom connectors, and secure enterprise integrations
• Understanding of Claude/GenAI application deployment with enterprise security including RBAC/ABAC, authentication, access governance, and HR data protection
• Strong working knowledge of Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Rovo Agents, and BPMN for designing service desks, workflows, and technology-enabled HR services
• Fluency in English; certifications in business/process analysis, automation, or agile delivery (Six Sigma, SAFe, Scrum, PMP, Archimate) are a plus
