About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential hospitality-technology client operating flexible accommodation across multiple international markets. They are scaling rapidly and need a senior-level finance professional to build financial infrastructure, own critical processes, and partner directly with leadership on strategic decisions.

This is not a traditional accounting role. You will analyse business performance, design automated workflows, reconcile complex multi-channel revenue streams, and help leadership make better decisions as the organization expands globally. For ambitious candidates, this role offers a clear path toward Finance Manager, Head of Finance, or CFO-track positions.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day financial reporting and controls, ensuring accuracy and validation of all figures presented to management
• Identify manual finance processes and design efficient workflows, partnering with engineering to implement automation
• Reconcile payments from multiple distribution channels and booking platforms, ensuring accurate and timely receipt of all expected funds
• Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Track accounts payable and receivable; review supplier invoices and company expenses
• Manage statutory filings and corporate compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Work with external accountants, tax advisers, auditors and banking partners on accurate records and compliance
• Build dashboards and reporting systems providing real-time performance visibility
• Analyse financial performance by property, city, country and business unit
• Build and maintain budgets, forecasts and financial models
• Monitor cash flow and support capital planning
• Identify financial risks, revenue leakage, and margin improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with operations teams to understand and reduce property-level costs
• Support financial due diligence for acquisitions, investments and new market launches
• Present insights and recommendations directly to founders and senior leadership

What We're Looking For

• Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles
• Comfortable working with large volumes of financial and operational data
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Strong reconciliation, financial control and problem-solving capabilities
• Commercial mindset—you understand what numbers mean for the business, not just how to report them
• High ownership and accountability; comfortable working independently
• Able to operate in fast-moving environments where priorities shift quickly
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to senior management
• Passionate about technology, automation and AI for improving finance processes
• Ambitious and seeking significantly more responsibility over time
• Experience in accounting, audit, investment banking, private equity, FP&A, consulting, hospitality, real estate or high-growth startups highly valued
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics or related analytical field preferred (exceptional candidates from other backgrounds encouraged to apply)
