(Senior) ERP Consultant DMS (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential ERP solutions provider seeking an experienced DMS Consultant to join their consulting team. In this role, you will advise mid-market clients on document management and digital document processes within their ERP ecosystem.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Analyzing existing workflows and developing tailored DMS solutions in collaboration with clients
• Gathering and evaluating customer requirements, creating technical specifications
• Supporting clients with process optimization and efficiency improvements
• Analyzing, designing, and implementing business processes within the ERP system
• Configuring and customizing ERP modules across one or more functional areas
• Conducting testing, error analysis, and quality assurance of ERP processes
• Preparing and delivering workshops and training sessions for key users and end users
• Creating and maintaining documentation, training materials, and process descriptions
• Contributing to the development of standardized, reusable ERP process solutions
• Working closely with project managers, developers, and client key users

For senior-level candidates, additional responsibilities include:

• Coordinating work packages and mentoring junior colleagues
• Providing technical leadership within the consulting team
• Developing best practices and guiding strategic ERP decisions
• Leading complex ERP projects and designing cross-departmental solutions

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Completed degree in business administration, information technology, or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience as an ERP consultant or ERP key user
• Strong understanding of business processes and operations
• Hands-on experience with ERP implementation and customizing
• Professional experience in DMS consulting, document management, or digitization of document processes
• Experience working with a DMS, ECM, or archiving system
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for working with customers
• Confident presence, presentation skills, and team spirit
• Willingness to travel moderately
• Fluency in German required; location in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, or Italy

For senior-level candidates:

• Proven experience leading complex ERP projects
• Ability to strategically design processes and develop cross-functional solutions
• Experience in technical leadership and mentoring colleagues
