Internship Go-to-Market Engineering, AI & Automation (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization expanding across Europe, and we're seeking an intern to help build the technical infrastructure behind their revenue operations.

In this role, you will:

• Build internal applications and workflows that support sales development, account management, customer success, and leadership teams
• Identify and automate repetitive workflows across sales, marketing, and customer success functions including lead enrichment, routing, qualification, follow-ups, pipeline management, and customer onboarding
• Connect various GTM systems and ensure reliable data flow between platforms
• Develop AI-powered workflows for lead qualification and prioritization, call analysis, opportunity identification, and operational automation
• Personally implement solutions using Python, TypeScript, workflow automation tools, APIs, and database queries
• Transform fragmented processes into scalable systems that directly impact pipeline generation, conversion rates, sales cycles, and retention
• Work cross-functionally with commercial and product teams to identify high-leverage problems and own them from conception to measurable results

What We're Looking For

Required skills and experience:

• Strong technical skills with hands-on experience in Python and/or TypeScript
• Proven experience building automations and integrations using workflow tools and APIs
• Comfort working with databases, APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines
• Interest in sales, marketing, customer success, and the systems behind SaaS revenue operations
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into technical solutions without detailed specifications
• Bias toward action – you move fast, iterate, and ship working versions before pursuing perfection
• Fluent English required; German or another European language is a plus

Bonus qualifications:

• Experience in dynamic startup environments working on technical solutions
• Familiarity with common GTM platforms such as CRM systems, communication tools, billing platforms, and analytics tools
• Previous work on internal tools, AI agents, lead-scoring systems, enrichment pipelines, or automated workflows
• Experience in early-stage or high-growth startups where speed and ownership were prioritized
