About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential geospatial technology company seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to join their Ho Chi Minh City office in Vietnam. Our client has developed an innovative location platform used across 193 countries, with partnerships spanning emergency services, delivery providers, eCommerce, and automotive navigation systems.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a modern tech stack including ReactJS, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS in a collaborative, Agile environment during an exciting growth phase.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the company's map platform, account management system, and supporting web properties
- Build sleek, responsive user interfaces on top of RESTful APIs using React, JavaScript, and CSS
- Collaborate closely with product and UX teams on design reviews and feasibility assessments
- Contribute fresh ideas and technical solutions to enhance the platform
- Work within a microservices-based architecture utilizing Kubernetes on AWS
- Ensure applications are optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile experiences
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience with ES6, TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proven track record building responsive websites across multiple device types
- Passion for software engineering and continuous learning
- Ability to work independently, self-motivate, and collaborate effectively
- Calm demeanor under pressure
Bonus qualifications:
- Knowledge of Next.js, mapping libraries (Google Maps or Leaflet), GIS systems
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, or similar cloud infrastructure
- Background working in Agile environments
