STAGE – Assistant Chef de Produit Poker (H/F)

About the Opportunity

We are representing a confidential gaming organization in Paris that is seeking an Assistant Product Manager Intern (Poker). This is a 6-month internship opportunity starting in January/February 2027, with potential for a permanent position based on performance.

Our client operates one of the most sophisticated gaming platforms in Europe, with a distributed architecture designed to handle real-time processing, high availability, and strong security requirements. The poker product team focuses on creating and evolving the player experience, from new features to major structural projects involving lobby redesigns, user journeys, and game variants.

Responsibilities

Your primary challenge will be to design an innovative solution to improve the experience for new players. Throughout the internship, you will progressively learn the business and methodologies while gaining increasing autonomy.

You will be involved in:

• Participating in discovery phases and workshops with Product and UI/UX teams
• Contributing to feature definition, trade-offs, and solution prioritization
• Engaging in product roadmap discussions
• Following development progress with technical teams
• Participating in testing and validation before project launches
• Learning all stages of digital product conception, from initial idea to deployment for hundreds of thousands of users

Final Project: Your end-of-internship project will involve rethinking and optimizing the onboarding and integration experience for new players. You will identify entry barriers, analyze application weaknesses, and design a solution in collaboration with a UI/UX Designer to sustainably increase player retention. You will write functional specifications, monitor development, and ensure testing and production deployment.

What We're Looking For

You are a Master's level student (Bac+5) in business school, marketing, management, or equivalent, seeking a final-year internship with real responsibilities.

Essential requirements:

• Strong personal experience with online poker
• Understanding of the competitive gaming environment
• Active player account with major poker platforms, enabling critical analysis from a player's perspective
• Ability to understand player trends, expectations, and behaviors

Pay
