Senior Consultant / Architect SAP S/4HANA Integration (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential enterprise software consulting firm serving leading manufacturers and life sciences organizations across Germany. Our talent team is seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA Integration Consultant / Architect to join their specialized integration practice in Heidelberg.

This role offers the opportunity to design and implement complex, cross-system integration architectures for global clients undergoing S/4HANA transformations. You'll work with cutting-edge SAP cloud technologies while progressing toward technical leadership and partial project management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop S/4HANA interfaces using SAP AIF, OData, Web Services, BRF+, and SAP Event Enablement
• Architect end-to-end integration solutions spanning SAP Integration Suite and SAP Process Orchestration
• Implement S/4HANA Clean Core design principles for public and private cloud deployments
• Lead integration teams during global S/4HANA rollouts and specialized integration projects (Salesforce, Workday, B2B connectivity)
• Take technical ownership of knowledge development within the integration practice
• Participate in international projects with flexible travel arrangements

What We're Looking For

• Several years of professional experience in interface development for SAP S/4HANA and SAP ERP
• Proven expertise in interface design addressing both functional and non-functional requirements (performance, maintainability)
• Strong knowledge of Web Services, ALE/IDoc, and OData protocols
• Experience with SAP Application Interface Framework, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Process Orchestration, or B2B integration (highly preferred)
• Foundational module knowledge in SAP SD or MM
• Interest in emerging SAP technologies including API-driven integration, event-driven architecture, and AI use cases
• German language proficiency required for client-facing work
