Senior Clinical Trial Manager – Oncology

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential contract research organization seeking a Senior Clinical Trial Manager with deep oncology expertise. Our client is a mid-sized global CRO known for delivering quality clinical research programs. This remote position based in the United States offers the opportunity to lead site management teams through complex oncology trials from start-up through closure.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction to clinical site management team members throughout the entire study lifecycle
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clinical monitoring and site activities within assigned projects
• Act as the primary sponsor contact, maintaining strong client relationships and professional communication
• Manage monitoring deliverables to achieve study budgets and proactively identify out-of-scope activities
• Oversee clinical research programs with the quality and rigor that patients and sponsors deserve
• Travel up to 30% to support trial activities and site visits

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree or Nursing Degree required
• 2+ years of experience as a Clinical Trial Manager, Clinical Operations Leader, Lead CRA, or equivalent role
• 4+ years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate
• Oncology therapeutic area experience is required
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in English
• Proven ability to lead and motivate remote teams effectively
• Strong initiative and problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented mindset
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to interact professionally with sponsor contacts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CTMS, and EDC systems
• Willingness to travel up to 30%
