(Senior) Business Consultant (m/w/d) Performance Management

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential consulting organization that advises market-leading industrial and manufacturing companies across Europe. We are seeking a Senior Business Consultant to join their Performance Management practice in Heidelberg, supporting clients in corporate controlling, planning, reporting, and consolidation.

In this role, you will work closely with finance and controlling departments to optimize cost structures, profitability models, and enterprise steering processes. You'll drive digital transformation initiatives in the finance function, leveraging modern technologies to automate and streamline planning and reporting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on enterprise performance management, including steering models, planning cycles, reporting frameworks, and consolidation processes
• Collaborate with controlling and finance teams to develop business solutions that support strategic objectives
• Optimize steering, planning, and consolidation processes through innovative methodologies
• Lead digital transformation initiatives in finance, with emphasis on process automation and digitalization
• Implement cutting-edge technologies and tools to improve operational efficiency and profitability
• Take on project responsibility appropriate to your experience level

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or comparable field
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in corporate controlling, enterprise steering, planning, or consolidation
• Strong interest in financial management and passion for digitalization and automation, particularly in SAP S/4HANA environments
• Hands-on experience in controlling or group steering functions
• Familiarity with planning, reporting, or consolidation tools is advantageous
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
• Willingness to work on-site in Heidelberg with flexible arrangements
