Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Senior Brand & Visual Designer for a two-year parental leave coverage position in Berlin. This is a unique opportunity to shape and evolve the visual identity of an established brand across all channels.

As the sole designer in the team, you will work with significant autonomy and ownership, collaborating closely with various departments and executive leadership. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining the visual brand identity from creative concept through to consistent execution across all digital and physical channels
• Collaborating with Content, PR, Sales, Partnerships, and Product teams to ensure visual consistency and brand alignment
• Creating design elements for diverse formats including web, mobile, social media, email, presentations, and print materials
• Developing icons, illustrations, and simple animations for various touchpoints
• Designing trade show displays, event materials, and branded items aligned with brand guidelines
• Supporting executive leadership and partnership teams with presentations, translating complex content into clear, compelling, and brand-appropriate slides
• Managing and evolving master presentation templates for sales pitches
• Presenting creative concepts confidently to senior stakeholders including the Head of Brand & Communications and CEO
• Taking full ownership of projects from initial concept through to final delivery while managing multiple priorities independently
• Exploring and implementing new technologies, particularly generative image and video tools, into daily workflows

What We're Looking For

Our client requires a designer with strong B2B brand experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment:

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in B2B brand and graphic design within a dynamic fintech environment, with proven in-house brand team experience
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
• Compelling portfolio demonstrating brand sensibility and ability to deploy creative content effectively across channels
• Strong conceptual thinking and clear communication skills, with ability to present ideas persuasively and provide constructive feedback
• Excellent organizational skills and self-management, capable of prioritizing effectively and managing multiple projects autonomously from concept to completion
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) with interest in emerging technologies
• Practical experience with generative AI tools is highly valued
• Passion for excellent branding with willingness to experiment with new creative approaches and challenge existing methods
• Motion design experience (3D animations or animated videos) is a plus

The position is based in Berlin (Charlottenburg) with a hybrid working model. This is a two-year fixed-term contract offering flexible working hours, 28 days annual leave, and benefits including public transport subsidy and corporate benefits access.
