Senior Analytics Engineer (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a fast-scaling healthcare technology company seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to establish their data infrastructure as the single source of truth. You'll own the analytics stack from warehouse to dashboard, working directly with finance, revenue operations, product, and customer success teams.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Building and maintaining layered, tested, documented data models in dbt on Redshift
• Shipping and managing company KPI dashboards in Lightdash, enabling self-serve analytics across all departments
• Defining and defending metric models that drive business decisions from ARR to product adoption
• Maintaining data ingestion pipelines using Fivetran and coordinating with engineering on ETL operations
• Translating ambiguous business questions from non-technical stakeholders into trusted, self-service data solutions
• Setting data standards and architectural foundations as the team scales

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone who can operate autonomously as their first dedicated analytics hire:

• 4+ years owning end-to-end analytics—from warehouse modeling to BI delivery—ideally in an early-stage or founding data role
• Expert-level SQL and strong dbt proficiency, including layered models, testing, CI/CD, and semantic/metric layers
• Production experience with cloud data warehouses (Redshift preferred; Snowflake or BigQuery with willingness to adapt)
• Proven ability to partner with non-technical stakeholders, propose metric definitions, and ship independently
• Default mindset of documentation, testing, and monitoring—you finish the 10% that makes models trustworthy
• Track record leveraging AI to automate workflows and build intelligent solutions
• Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin, Germany
