About This Opportunity
We are representing a well-established construction organization in Frankfurt that specializes in civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Our client is seeking a Senior Construction Manager (m/w/d) for engineering construction to lead substantial projects with significant autonomy. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take on challenging infrastructure assignments while working close to home at project sites throughout the region.
Responsibilities
- Lead demanding civil engineering projects independently from preparation through successful completion
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal site teams
- Ensure compliance with cost, schedule, and quality requirements
- Serve as primary contact for clients, planning offices, and project stakeholders throughout construction phases
- Execute claims management and maintain comprehensive project documentation
What We're Looking For
- Successfully completed degree in civil engineering or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience as a construction manager in civil engineering
- Strong knowledge of VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures) and construction contract and claims management
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills with entrepreneurial thinking
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- German language proficiency required for this role
