About This Opportunity

We are representing a well-established civil engineering and infrastructure construction firm based in the Mannheim area. Our client is seeking a Senior Construction Manager (m/w/d) to lead complex engineering construction projects from planning through completion. This role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to work on major infrastructure developments close to your home location.

Responsibilities

• Lead demanding civil engineering construction projects independently from preparation through successful delivery
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal site teams
• Ensure adherence to cost, schedule, and quality requirements
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, planning offices, and project stakeholders throughout construction phases
• Manage change orders and maintain comprehensive site documentation

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in civil engineering or comparable qualification
• Several years of proven experience as a construction manager in civil engineering projects
• Strong knowledge of VOB (German construction contract procedures) and construction contract/claim management
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills with entrepreneurial thinking
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• German language proficiency required for this role
