Senior AI Product Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization that is transforming how global debt markets operate through AI-powered intelligence platforms. Our client serves over 300 blue-chip institutions worldwide and is at an exceptional growth inflection point, backed by substantial Series C funding.

Their AI product team is expanding to meet accelerating demand. You'll join as the third Product Manager focused on AI, taking ownership of a defined product area within conversational AI, agentic workflows, or domain-specific automation for financial professionals. This isn't about building AI infrastructure from scratch—the evaluation frameworks and quality systems already exist. Your role is to use them and drive forward new AI-powered capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively create and champion a clear product vision and strategy for your AI product area, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable problem statements
• Shape next-generation agentic AI products including multi-step reasoning workflows, tool orchestration, and autonomous task completion for financial professionals
• Manage the inherent challenges of building with LLMs: hallucinations, output quality evaluation, and designing for non-deterministic systems
• Use confidence-building methods (prototypes, user research, data analysis) to validate how users will interact with AI-powered features before full builds
• Leverage the team's AI evaluation framework (LLM-as-judge protocols, quality thresholds, subject matter expert evaluation cycles) to validate and improve shipped products
• Contribute to data strategy for your area: annotation quality, ground truth curation, and feedback loops that improve model performance
• Identify and track metrics measuring client and business benefit, working on continuous model evaluation and improvement
• Create a collaborative squad environment with clear context and goals, bridging the gap between business needs and AI technical capabilities
• Communicate strategy, initiatives, and progress transparently across the organization, translating complex AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Champion responsible AI practices: transparency in model outputs, bias monitoring, and compliance with client expectations

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in FinTech or B2B SaaS, with at least 2 years focused on ML or GenAI products
• Working knowledge of RAG architectures, embeddings, prompt engineering, and LLM evaluation methods—not just high-level AI concepts
• Experience shipping AI products where output quality is probabilistic; you know how to define "good enough" and iterate
• Comfortable reading Python notebooks and SQL to interrogate model outputs and usage data
• Track record managing the tension between ML research/exploration and production delivery constraints
• Collaborative leadership style with strong stakeholder management; you build relationships that empower your team
• User-centric communication skills: explaining AI capabilities and limitations without overselling or underselling
• You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and are energized by building something new

Nice to have:

• Experience in financial services, legal tech, or data/analytics platforms
• Familiarity with credit markets, debt instruments, or regulatory/compliance workflows
• Experience with NLP applied to document analysis (contracts, legal filings, financial reports)
• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks, tool use patterns, or multi-step AI workflows
• AI-native working style: you use generative AI tools naturally in your workflow—prototyping, research, building agents, using coding assistants

Location and Work Arrangement

This role is based in London with a hybrid working model, allowing flexibility to decide how, where, and when you do your best work. Our client offers 25 holiday days per year plus local public holidays, with the ability to work abroad for up to three months annually.
