Copywriter im E-Commerce (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential e-commerce client in the pet wellness space. They need a performance-focused copywriter who owns the entire creative funnel—from first impression to conversion.

You will develop and execute direct-response creative across Meta, Google, and native platforms. This includes landing pages, advertorials, listicles, video sales letters (VSLs), Meta Ads, and UGC scripts. You'll write hook-driven video concepts for Meta and YouTube, building campaigns around customer journeys rather than isolated messages.

A core responsibility is creating actionable creative briefs that editors and UGC creators can execute independently—clear enough that follow-up questions aren't needed. You'll analyze creative performance data from Ads Manager, extract insights on CVR, CAC, AOV, and ROAS, then brief the next iteration based on what the numbers tell you.

You will design and manage A/B testing frameworks and creative rotation schedules that scale. Your audience is pet owners who see their animals as family—you'll speak to what truly motivates them, not generic personas.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years as a Creative Strategist in performance creative or direct-response, ideally in DTC e-commerce
• Proven results with Meta video ads (VSLs, UGC-style content, hook testing) backed by concrete numbers—campaigns you owned, copy that demonstrably converted
• Deep understanding of sales psychology frameworks (PAS, DIC, Before/After, AIDA) and when to apply scarcity, urgency, and social proof—or when to leave them out
• AI-native workflow: you use AI tools professionally for research, ideation, variant scaling, and rapid concept development, but you know the difference between mediocre and brilliant still depends on human judgment
• Fluent German copywriting skills—copy that reads like a letter to a friend, not a product insert; writing that sells, not impresses
• Self-starter mentality: you bring ideas, execute them, and measure results without waiting for direction

Nice to have: Experience in FMCG e-commerce (skincare, pet products, supplements, health).
