About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing digital marketing consultancy based in the UK that is seeking an Executive Assistant to support their senior leadership team. This is a high-impact, remote role where you'll provide essential executive support to help key leaders maximise their time and keep critical business initiatives moving forward.

Our client operates in a dynamic, strategic advisory space and values meticulous organisation, proactive communication, and the ability to take projects from concept to completion with minimal oversight. This role offers genuine scope for growth as you build trust and deepen your understanding of the business.

Responsibilities

You will divide your time between direct executive support (approximately 60%) and broader business coordination (approximately 40%):

Executive Support:

  • Manage complex calendars, protecting focused work time and making intelligent scheduling decisions across time zones
  • Triage and manage executive communications, drafting responses and ensuring timely follow-through on commitments
  • Prepare daily briefings that provide clear overviews of schedules, priorities, and outstanding decisions
  • Coordinate meeting preparation including agendas, materials, and post-meeting action tracking
  • Arrange complex travel itineraries including flights, accommodation, transport, and meeting logistics
  • Take ownership of varied tasks that require sound judgement to move from draft to completion

Business Coordination:

  • Support day-to-day finance administration including expense filing, invoice collection and preparation, and payment tracking
  • Assist with people administration such as maintaining HR records, coordinating recruitment logistics, and tracking key contract dates
  • Organise company retreats and team events, managing all logistics from venue research to dietary requirements
  • Support delivery of wider company priorities through coordinated project work, communication drafting, and reliable follow-through
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and escalate sensitive matters appropriately

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience and Skills:

  • 2-4 years in an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Business Support, or similar coordination role
  • Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills with strong editorial ability
  • Meticulous attention to detail and proven organisational capabilities
  • Experience working remotely full-time with demonstrated self-motivation
  • Availability to work 8am-5pm UK time (or earlier)
  • Confident using AI tools to research, draft, summarise, and streamline work while maintaining critical review of outputs

Key Attributes:

  • Excellent remote communication skills that build trust through clarity and frequency
  • Solutions-oriented approach and receptiveness to feedback
  • High emotional intelligence and professionalism when handling confidential matters
  • Obsessive reliability with deadlines and task management
  • Self-driven work ethic with comfort taking initiative on partly-formed requests
  • Calm demeanour when balancing planned work with reactive priorities
  • Appetite to grow responsibilities as you build company context and trust
