Self Directed Services Staff – Pecori

Catholic Charities Family and Community Services seeks a full-time Self Directed Services Staff member to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Westgate, Monroe County. This community-based position features a flexible schedule that adjusts based on your clients' needs.

About This Position

As a Self Directed Services Staff member with Catholic Charities, you'll support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving greater independence across daily living and community activities. Working in Westgate and surrounding Monroe County communities, you'll be part of the agency's Self Directed Services program—a person-centered approach that puts clients and their families at the center of support planning. This full-time position features a flexible schedule tailored to client needs, combining administrative work ($15.50/hour) with direct client support, where rates are determined by the client and family.

What You'll Do

• Provide hands-on assistance and practical instruction to help clients develop independence in daily living and community participation
• Support skill-building in ways that honor each person's goals, abilities, and preferences
• Document progress and maintain clear communication with families, supervisors, and the broader care team
• Adapt your approach to meet each client's unique learning style and needs
• Complete administrative duties that support the I/DD Services program
