Seeding Lead

Little Leaf Farms is hiring a Seeding Lead to join our team in Manchester, Coffee County. This is a full-time position leading a critical function in our production operations—managing every aspect of seed preparation to ensure consistent, high-quality output that meets customer timelines.

About This Position

In this role, you'll take ownership of our seeding operations from start to finish. You'll lead the team responsible for planting, monitor the automated systems that move trays through our facility, oversee seed germination protocols, and manage the cleaning and maintenance of all seeding equipment. Your work directly impacts our ability to deliver plants on schedule and maintain the quality standards our customers expect.

Core Duties

• Supervise seeding machine operators and guide their day-to-day tasks
• Monitor and maintain all seeding machines to ensure reliable operation
• Oversee the automation systems that control plate and tray movement through production stages
• Track seed germination progress and adjust conditions as needed for optimal results
• Manage cleaning and sanitation of seeding equipment and work areas
• Coordinate seeding schedules with broader production plans to keep operations on pace
